“This is my second year dancing. I’m relatively new at it, but my gymnastics background helps me a lot,” said Chenoweth. She has been doing gymnastics for 12 years.

Junior Erinn Frye also enjoys dancing for the school. She loves the feeling of people getting excited to watch them dance at games. Frye has been dancing for about 10 years.

“I like dancing because it keeps me active, and it lets me express myself,” said Frye. Her sister Caitlin Frye who is also part of the Fusion Dance Team inspired her to dance the most. Her sister motivated her to keep working hard.

The Fusion Dance Team is excited to show what they have been practicing since the first day of school. They usually dance during halftimes in basketball games and pep rallies. They are stepping up to the next level and ready to bring the heat to the Cardinal Country.
