Senior Josalyn Junkin is a Defensive Specialist for the varsity girls team and has been playing since she was eight years old. According to Junkin, the team has been preparing for this game for a while and felt confident going into it. This week was also different than others because there were actually two in-conference games.

Since the beginning of the year, the team has seen a lot of improvement.

“I think we have hit that spot in the season where we just click and everything is running really smooth,” said Junkin.

One of her favorite memories from her Spring Mills career was beating Martinsburg and Hedgesville in the same week. What she’ll miss most, above the competition and wins, is the laughs and good memories that she gets from her team.

“Every practice, every game, every minute we are together we are always laughing and having a good time, I love those girls,” said Junkin.
