This year Spring Mills High School has shown a lot more SPIRIT during the weeks leading up to Halloween. Normally, we don’t have any big activities surrounding the fall holidays, but this year there is a whole Halloween spirit week and a Fall Festival

During Spooky Weekstudents in all grades are encouraged to bring out their Halloween costumes and celebrate as a school. During the week of spooky week, there are days to dress in fall colors, wear spooky socks, dress in a costume, and flannel Friday.

“I’m really excited to wear my spooky socks on Tuesday!” said junior Jordan Grimes.

The Saturday following Spooky Week is the Fall Festival planned by leadership here at Spring MillsFall Fest at Spring Mills is for the community to come and see clubs, sports, and organizations from the school and have fun. They are planning to have food and different games for kids to come and play to support Spring Mills and local businesses.

“I’m really excited for Spooky Week. We’ve never done anything like this at the school and it’s nice to start having more school spirit, especially because it’s my senior year,” said Whitney Weyforth

Spooky week will be held from 10/28 to 11/1.

Fall Fest is going to be from 1pm to 4pm on November 2nd.
