Tune in Tuesday: A Stagnant Love Playlist

Tune in Tuesday: A Stagnant Love Playlist

Paige Kilmer, Author

Do you ever feel like no matter how hard you try to make something work with someone, it just doesn’t go anywhere? It happens to the best of us. Do you need a little playlist to cry to for when you feel like soWell, here you go.

Somebody Else by The 1975

This is a great song to start off the playlist because not only is it sad, but it’s catchy also. Nothing like having Matthew Healy’s (lead singer’s) voice singing sad songs of repetition all day.

All I Wanted by Paramore

This has been my jam of the week, in all honesty. With powerful vocals and relatable lyrics, heck, all you need now is a box of tissues and nutella to drown out your inner demon.

The Physical Attraction by The Symposium

It’s not sad sounding or actually that sad, but it’s (once again) relatable. A song about being completely honest with your feelings and being pretty blunt about them.

I’m Tired & I Hate This Song (Don’t Go) by Cyberbully Mom Club

Contrary to the title, though I am tired, I don’t hate this song. I mean, there’s nothing to hate about it.  Love is hard and tiring, man.

Looking Out for You by Joy Again

Do you ever feel like you’re the only one who cares? It’s tiring, isn’t it? Well, Joy Again wrote a song just for you.

I Miss You by Blink 182

It’s a classic sad love song. I shouldn’t have to explain.

Draw Your Swords by Angus & Julia Stone

Honestly, I cry to this song a lot. It’s a good crying song, what can I say? A song about sacrificing for who or what you love? Sounds sad enough to cry about. Just saying.
