Let the Holiday Traditions Begin!

SMHS students are ready for their Christmas traditions.

Many students celebrate their traditions by being with family.

“On Christmas Eve, me and my siblings have to look for the Christmas pickle to see who gets to open up the first present,” senior Alexis Jedlowski said.

Some students at SMHS open gifts on Christmas Eve instead of Christmas Day. However other students get up early Christmas morning to open gifts.

“Christmas means a lot because it’s a religious holiday to me,” senior Raelyn Jones said.

SMHS students around the school celebrate Christmas in different ways, but one thing they are all excited for is being with family.

Students are taking this time to enjoy Christmas break, be with family, and most importantly eat the Christmas meal.
