Oldies but Goodies Playlist

Dream On by Aerosmith
This song is one of the most iconic songs in Rock and Roll History. Everybody knows the song and its played everywhere, especially on sports channels for some reason. “Dream On’ has definitely earned its spot on this playlist.
Magic Man by Heart
Heart is a great (mostly) girl band. It’s composed of women with powerful vocals and their lead guitarist, Roger, who was obviously hip to the feminist movement of the time. “Magic Man” has all the qualities of a great oldie song. It has very strong, beautiful guitar riffs and a storyline.
Burnin’ for You by Blue Oyster Cult
Blue Oyster Cult is a band that is most likely not as known as Aerosmith or Queen, but do not be fooled, they’re great. “Burnin’ for You” is definitely a catchy song, it, like many others like it, has an amazing guitar riff to start off. And yes, it’s a love song.
Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd
10 out of 10 would recommend. “Simple Man” is an amazing story about going through life and trying to get by. The song is beautiful and definitely powerful. It’s good for long car rides and watching the sunset.
Gypsy by Fleetwood Mac
“Gypsy” is one of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs. It’s upbeat and has a very vintage feel to it. Stevie’s vocals remain unique, as always, throughout and her witchy touch can be found in the song. This song never disappoints and that’s why I recommend it.
