A common misconception of the feminist movement is that it is one of perceived supremacy: that it puts down men in order to raise up women. Even if that were true, it would only be evening out the playing field that has, for many years, been dominated by men. However, feminism is not vengeful or spiteful. Instead it vouches for a better future; one that equally values and celebrates all genders, sexualities, and human beings in general.
