Junior Aidan Bogolin has been playing soccer in his entire life, and this marks his 12th year of playing soccer.

He has been on the soccer varsity team since freshman year, and he traveled to different places joining soccer tournaments in his past years.

“It’s just awesome to be outside. I like the way it’s played, and I grew up on it, so I’ve always stayed interested,” said Bogolin. He has tried other sports, but soccer always comes out on top for Bogolin. He has also made several achievements in his past years of playing soccer.

Bogolin’s travel team was ranked 2nd in the state a few years ago. He also won some tournaments in Virginia and Pennsylvania. One of his biggest achievements was making varsity in his freshman year.

Bogolin’s role models were his former varsity teammates Matt Mehosky and Caleb Stutzman. He also looks up to his dad who played soccer. Bogolin is one of the key players for the varsity team, and sometimes he steps up as a leader for the team when no one is stepping up.

“I’m going to miss all the laughs with the team and all the fun we had in the games,” said Bogolin. This year, the soccer varsity team had some struggles during the season, but they still played their hearts out at every game.

Bogolin played three straight years in the playoffs finals, and he is determined to win every single game in the playoffs.

“I think we will be pretty good, and I expect a pretty good season next year,” said Bogolin.
