Senior Bryce Ferro competed in the golf state tournament in Wheeling, West Virginia on October 2nd and 3rd to round off the season.

Over the weekend, Ferro scored an 81 on day one and an 83 on day two.

“It was a lot different this year in the sense that I am a senior and won’t get the opportunity to go again. I really enjoyed competing against the best in West Virginia,” said Ferro.

Throughout the season, Ferro remained strong and led the team as a senior captain. Multiple times, Ferro placed 1st in invitational meets with some scores as low as 79.

Although this wasn’t Ferro’s first time at states, it was his best performance out of the three times he’s gone.

“It was an amazing experience to represent my school with the best in the state. I also had a strong support system,” said Ferro.

Coach Barrett has been supporting Ferro since his freshman year, and Ferro is also supported by his golf and baseball teammates.
