On Saturday, October 27th, Spring Mills Primary School hosted their annual Trunk-or-Treat.

Due to the weather, the event occurred indoors this year rather than outside with the usual decorated trunks. The twist was a surprisingly big hit.

“My son complains every year that it’s too cold outside to trick or treat, so it was nice for the both of us to stay warm inside,” said parent Melissa Gano.

Along with trunk or treating, there were also carnival games for children and their parents to participate in. Most children seemed to be fond of the miniaturized corn-hole, although many were enthralled with the other hands-on Halloween-themed games and challenges.

“I thought it was cool to have so many different things to do,” said Gano.

Despite the challenges, Spring Mills Primary hosted a fantastic trunk or treat experience for kids.
