The football team, band, and cheerleaders had their senior night on Friday, October 26, 2018 in Cardinal Stadium to round off the home games of the season and dominated North Hagerstown 34-9.

The “farewell” festivities started before the game because of impending weather conditions, but the early start didn’t put a damper on the night.

Escorted on the field were 18 football players, 5 cheerleaders, and 9 band members.

Afterwards, the band got to avoid the rain while cheer and football fought through it. Taking on the Hubs, the Cardinals led at the half.

“It was weird having my senior night at a new school, but it was still a great night. It really fired up the whole team because no one wants to lose such a big game,” said Senior Quinton Runge.

The cheerleaders also kept up the pep during the rain.

“Senior night didn’t go as planned, but that’s just high school. It was still a special night regardless, and we always have a great time together,” said senior Taylor Tetreault.
